OCC Soap 2015

Here at Gottes Belle Farm I have a heart for Operation Christmas Child and a LOVE for making soap. I've combined the best of both worlds and in addition to the soaps I make for my business side of things, I make Tallow Soap for Operation Christmas Child shoe boxes.

In March of 2014 I put a call out for funds to pay for supplies to make 3,000 bars of soap for my churches November 2014 packing ministry. God provided funds and supplies to make 9,300 bars of soap! The 2014 project is complete. We rendered tallow from beef fat that was donated to us. Boy was that a job!

November 2015's goal is 12,000 bars of soap. I have been able to raise $490 as of August 2014. That is enough money to buy all the tallow (no rendering beef fat this year), lye and packaging needed to make 12,000 1 oz bars of soap! I'm praying for more funds to come in for 2015's goal. I hope to increase the size of the soaps with any more money that comes in for 2015's goal.

I can't wait to see where God is taking this project for years to come!
